The Full Amore Bed Mattress Review
About the Amore Bed Mattress
Amore Beds is one of the newest contenders in the customized mattress industry. They have specially designed their mattress to be a foam/coil hybrid, and it also comes in three different standard levels of firmness (soft, medium, and firm). What really sets Amore apart from their competition is the fact that they provide you with the option to have a different firmness level on each side of the mattress. Naturally, couples will tend to have different firmness preferences from each other; therefore, Amore has made it possible to satisfy the needs of both of those preferences. It only makes sense to develop a mattress that may be customized with different feels. Also, if you prefer a mattress that doesn’t sleep hot, this mattress has a graphite and copper infused latex which ensures that you remain cool throughout the entire night. In addition to the convenient, customizable options, this mattress comes in at a competitive $775 for a queen. Read the Amore Bed mattress review below:

You may like the Amore if…
You Sleep with a Partner- One of my favorite aspects of the Amore is the fact that they allow you to split your mattress. In other words, if one person likes a soft mattress while the other wants a firm mattress, you can split the mattress and have one side soft and the other soft. Additionally, the mattress has a minimal amount of motion transfer, making the Amore an ideal option for anyone sharing the bed along with a partner.
You are unsure of which Firmness you Prefer- If you are not 100% sure on which level of firmness you prefer, or if you as a couple have different preferences, you have the option to split the mattress between two different firmness levels, one on each side. You also have the option to take a quiz on Amore’s site to assist you in deciding which firmness might be right for you.
You desire a Balanced Foam Feel- If you want the pressure relief of a foam mattress without the unpleasant sinking feeling or feeling as if you are getting stuck, this might be an excellent option for you. Based on my experience with the mattress, I felt that it had a nice balanced feel that was reasonably responsive while still providing me with pressure relief. You like the Hybrid Design- Amore pairs a pocketed coil unit along with some nice foam layers. Not only are there cooling benefits to having a coil layer instead of a foam core, but it also provides excellent body contour and bounce, making it effortless to be able to switch positions.
You don’t want to Sleep Hot- When I tested the mattress, the graphite memory foam did not get excessively hot at all. I typically get hot at night, so I felt that this mattress did a great job at avoiding any heat retention.
You are interested in the additional health benefits of the Copper Cover- This Copper Ion infused cover happens to be anti-microbial and anti-bacterial, making this a much healthier surface to sleep on top of.
You may not like the Amore if…
You enjoy the Slow-Moving Memory Foam Feel- If you are accustomed to that slow-moving, quicksand-like feeling that the Tempurpedic is infamously known for, then this may not be the mattress for you, because you will certainly not get that feeling with the Amore.
You prefer an Innerspring Mattress- On the other hand, if you have a strong preference to the traditional innerspring mattresses, the feeling of the Amore is going to be entirely different from what you are used to.
You are Heavy-Set and want a Soft Mattress- In order to achieve the soft firmness level, Amore uses a less dense foam. If you happen to weight over 280 lbs you run the risk of bottoming out the mattress when you are sitting, kneeling, or bouncing. Luckily, laying wouldn’t be much of an issue. On the other hand, on the medium or firm mattress, you won’t have any problems with bottoming out. If you are a little bit on the heavier side and really want a soft mattress, I suggest looking at other options instead of the Amore; however, I think that a majority of people would go for the medium feel since it performs very well for individuals who like to switch positions and move around throughout the night.
Construction of the Mattress
The Amore starts with a 2” ultra-high-density structural base layer that provides support to an additional 4” layer of individually wrapped comfort-coils. There are approximately 885 4” pocketed coils inside the queen mattress consisting of 14.5 gauge wire. A foam encased edge surrounds these coils. Above that is another 4” worth of polyfoam specially designed to target pressure points as well as provide sleepers with optimal comfort. Last but not least, there is a 1” thick Graphite infused Memory foam that makes up the top layer and works in unison with the rest of the layers to provide a nice and cool sleeping surface.
Mattress Cover– One of the many unique features of the Amore is the unique therapeutic copper ion fabric option. Copper is notorious for being anti-bacterial as well as anti-microbial and has some additional health benefits as well.
Foundation– The Amore Bed will work fine on any type of solid surface. It doesn’t matter if you place the mattress on a boxspring/wood foundation, a platform with slats, an adjustable base, or even place it on the floor. The mattress will perform great regardless.
Consists of supercooling elements made entirely of CertiPUR-US foams free of any heavy metals, flame retardants, phthalates, and formaldehyde. There are absolutely no toxic flame retardants used in the construction of this mattress.

Revolutionizes a one-of-a-kind therapeutic copper ion fabric option offering countless amounts of priceless benefits
Incorporates only the best qualities of both spring and foam mattresses
From my experience with the mattress, the Graphite latex top comfort layer did not trap the least bit of heat at all. I am a firm believer that over time, you mattress will end up being the temperature of your body; however, some foams tend to disperse heat much better than others. In my opinion, latex will be the best material for temperature regulation.
This mattress is constructed with graphite infused visco (supposedly has excellent heat-repelling properties) as well as a polyfoam, which contributes to the overall feel and firmness of the mattress. This mattress if reasonably responsive, yet it still provides you with good cushioning, and you sink into it just a little bit. Also, as I previously mentioned, keep in mind that each side of the mattress can have different levels of firmness, finally resolving the conflict between couples that have a hard time agreeing on a mattress firmness.
Motion transfer is very imperative if you are planning on sharing your bed along with a partner, especially if they tend to toss and turn at night. When I tested this mattress, I found that it did a phenomenal job at isolating motion.
If you are in search of a mattress that stands out in the crowded “bed-in-a-box” market, the Amore might be your best bet. I found it to be a very unique option with some exciting extra features that make it an overall intriguing choice. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience with the mattress. I thought that it was very comfortable and I am fond of the fact that it sleeps much cooler relative to any other mattresses I have reviewed in the past. If you are interested in the Amore Bed, I must say that it is definitely worth giving it a shot and do keep in mind, if you end up deciding that this isn’t the mattress for you, you do have the convenient 100-night sleep trial.
